Meet the Kids

Logan Asher Kinkin was a wonderful, loving boy to everyone he met. On January 27, 2016, Logan’s family learned that he had a tumor on his brainstem called DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma), after noticing symptoms in his right eye. Logan’s tumor unfortunately progressed quickly, and he began to experience significant side effects very rapidly from this devastating disease. MRI scans showed the aggressiveness of the tumor, with growth of 20-30% in just a month from diagnosis.
Logan passed away peacefully in his sleep at 7:30 a.m., on March 20, 2016, just one month shy of his 5th birthday. His loving mom and dad and his two sisters surrounded him. He took his last little breath in this world and his first as an angel in his new life with wings, up in heaven. He will be forever remembered, loved, and cherished by his family, who hold him in their hearts.
