**Giveaway closed at Sunday, September 16, at 7:15 pm EST.**
To help raise awareness during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, and to thank our wonderful Defeat DIPG supporters, please join us for this contest.
DIPG is the deadliest form of pediatric brain cancer with an overall survival of less than 1%. Between 300-400 kids are diagnosed in the U.S. alone. It is most common in kids between 4-11 years old but also hits kids and young adults outside that range.
Our mission is to fund research for a cure and raise awareness of this devastating disease. Last year we announced over $1 million in DIPG-specific research funding in partnership with The ChadTough Foundation, and we hope to announce at least $2 million of additional funding before the end of the year.
Our son, Michael, was diagnosed with DIPG a week after his 6th birthday and he passed away 8.5 months later. Michael’s favorite sport was baseball and favorite team was the Washington Nationals.
As a thank you to our wonderful Defeat DIPG supporters, we are giving away:
3 (three) Washington Nationals tickets for the Sunday, September 23 game against the NY Mets at 1:35 pm. Section 109, Row X, Seats 12-14. $10 value for food/beverage/merchandise included on each ticket for your use at the game.
You must be 18 or older to enter.
One entry per person.
There are not any required purchases or actions to win, but please consider one of the following to support our work to Defeat DIPG:
- Support the 2nd Annual Defeat DIPG Gala by buying tickets (early bird ends 9/12), sponsoring a DIPG family ticket, donating to the auction, or becoming a sponsor.
- Share this contest to spread information on DIPG and give your friends a chance to win!
- Follow us on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter at @DefeatDIPG
Winner will be picked Sunday, September 16, at 7:30 pm EST in a live video on the Michael Mosier Defeat DIPG Foundation Facebook and Instagram pages.
Thank you for participating and for supporting the fight to Defeat DIPG!
